Jurisdiction
The Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia has no jurisdiction in the field of energy efficiency.
The Law on Rational Use of Energy (“Official Gazette of RS”, No. 25/13) prescribed that the jurisdiction in this area lies with the Government and ministries in charge of energy issues and of local self-government.
However, the increase in energy efficiency would also contribute to a more efficient implementation of other energy policy measures which are important for the activities within the Agency’s jurisdiction, above all, of those related to households as energy customers.
The attached information sheet WHY AND HOW TO USE LESS ENERGY IN OUR HOME?(Serbian language) Humbly aims at stimulating customers to think about this issue to a greater extent, i.e. to analyse, prepare and undertake measures to reduce consumption and use energy more efficiently in a cost-reflective manner.
