Upon the request of the Transmission System Operator “Elektromreža Srbije”, the Council of the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia has adopted decision on approval of operational limitations for production facilities that are being connecting to the transmission system.
The Energy Law prescribes that the operator may offer the connection which is subject to operational limitations if such limitation is approved by the Agency to the connection applicant.
The conditions for the connection of a facility to the transmission system are defined in the connection study which is made for each facility that is being connected and it is drafted by the operator. If the results of the study indicate the necessity of operational limitation, these limitations are defined as a method of connection in order to remove the overburden in the transmission system.
For each production facility for which a necessity of operational limitation is established, the transmission system operator submitted requests for their approval to the Agency and the Agency adopted decisions on these requests.
