TEN NON-BINDING BIDS FOR USE OF FUTURE GAS PIPELINE
Friday, May 04, 2018.
GASTRANS, LLC, Novi Sad has informed the Energy Agency (AERS) that ten non-binding bids have been submitted during the first phase of market test for the use of future gas pipeline, which is planned to connect the Bulgarian and Hungarian transmission system via the territory of Serbia.
One may assess that the level of expressed interest is at a satisfactory level. In line with the Energy Agency decision, GASTRANS will make an analysis of submitted bids by the end of June and inform the AERS on the results.
If the results of the analysis indicate the feasibility of the gas pipeline construction, the following phase of the procedure will be launched – the invitation to applicants who have bid in the first phase to submit binding bids for capacity reserve within the future gas pipeline.
Around 42 million m3 of natural gas daily is the total claimed capacity on the entry into Serbia from Bulgaria from different natural gas sources.
